Being the most remote mountainous city in the country, Kon Tum attracted few travelers. However, in recent years, the number of travelers has increased for the following reasons:
First, it is the only Vietnamese city with the border gate with both Laos and Cambodia. This gate is called Bo Y. Travelers can visit the 2 Indochinese countries in the same day.
Secondly, because of its geographical location, the mountainous city Kon Tum holds a large number of majestic destinations: Kon Klor common house, the largest common house in the Highlands of Vietnam; Kon Tum's century-old wooden cathedral, better known as the wooden church, is a successful marriage of Romanesque architecture and traditional Bahnars architecture; the temple of Bac Ai; the eco-tourism zone Mang Den; Chu Mom Ray National Park; Bishop, building known for the harmonious combination of traditional indigenous architecture and Western architecture ...
Its wild beauty, its buildings and its particular architectures are favorable to the travelers.
