After about an hour, we’ll arrive at a charming countryside village where you’ll have the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of local farming. Join the friendly farmers as they tend to their vegetable gardens and orchards, cultivating a variety of crops like cauliflower, cabbage, tomatoes, and more. Experience the rhythm of rural life as you participate in tasks such as raking, sowing, watering greens, and picking fresh produce, depending on the season.

As the morning activities come to a close, we’ll gather in a local house for a well-deserved lunch. Indulge in the flavors of authentic local dishes made with seasonal vegetables, fruits, and Vietnamese green tea, savoring the farm-to-table experience.

In the afternoon, we’ll continue our exploration with a visit to Thay Pagoda, a captivating complex nestled at the foot of a majestic limestone cliff. This historical site, dating back to the 11th century, showcases a harmonious blend of temples, communal houses, and a pagoda. Marvel at the intricate architecture and learn about the cultural significance of each section, including the worship of Buddha and the veneration of the esteemed monk Tu Dao Hanh.

Adjacent to the pagoda, you’ll discover a small stage built on stilts in the middle of Long Tri Pond. This unique stage is where vibrant water puppet performances take place during festivals, adding an extra touch of cultural enchantment.

Our journey continues to the summit of Buffalo Mountain, where the remarkable Tay Phuong Pagoda awaits.
