Day 01: Hanoi – Transfer to Tuyen Quang and Cycle to Ha Giang
After a filling breakfast at the hotel and a two-hour ride in our shuttle bus to the cycling site, we leave the busy city behind. After arriving at the cycling site, we mount our bikes and ride along a picturesque road via numerous quaint towns and breathtaking farmlands until arriving in Son Duong town for lunch. After lunch, we ride our bikes through beautiful landscape on tarmac roads to Tuyen Quang. From there, we pull off onto National Road No. 2 to Vi Xuyen Town. traveling the remaining distance to check into a hotel in Ha Giang. Check into the hotel and eat at a nearby restaurant for dinner.

Day 02: Ha Giang  Cycling Loop – Quang Ba – Yen Minh
Refueling for another riding day, we set out this morning and cycle for the first 25 km over a somewhat uneven road that passes through terraced rice paddies. We ride for the following 25 km, passing past minority communities and up winding roads into the massive limestone mountain range with its vertical rock walls. We climb 800 meters towards the mountain road pass known as "Heaven gate 1." The people in the mountain villages we pass through, often shrouded in clouds, will greet us warmly. From the pass, we have breathtaking views all around, including the well-known scene of the Tam Son valley with the "Twin Hills" and the ability to see Quan Ba town.Lunch on the summit while taking in the gorgeous surroundings. Following lunch, we rode our bikes down to the river and continued to the Gam River till we came to another pass. The first few kilometers of our ride are uphill, followed by a roughly 10-kilometer descent and the next 10-kilometer stretch of mostly level ground. We have a strenuous ascent and descend to a height of 1.025 meters before making our last 15-kilometer descent into Yenh Minh. The local hill tribes' traditional dwellings will be open for us to view. Chinese people live in these communities.

Day 03: Bicycle tours Yen Minh  – Ma Le -   Dong Van 
We have an amazing day ahead of us as we cycle through the heart of the internationally recognized Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark.After a filling breakfast at the hotel, head to the vibrant hill tribal market next door, and start cycling along Happiness Road to Dong Van. Riding your bike to the summit rewards you with stunning views of the Karsk Plateau and unspoiled environment. After making a stop to see and tour the Hmong King Palace (Vuong Chi Sinh Palace), we will cycle on to Dong Van. Eat lunch on the way. We continue cycling on back roads to Dong Van Town after lunch. Once you've arrived, check in and enjoy some alone time. Dinner and a hotel stay for the night.

Day 04: Dong Van -cycle tour Meo Vac –  Mau Due  - Du Gia
following refueling for the day's cycling. Take pleasure in two kilometers of level road before ascending the magnificent Ma Phi Leng pass, which connects the cities of Dong Van and Meo Vac. Riding a bicycle up a mountainside to observe the breathtaking surroundings while taking in the glistening Nho Que River water reflected in crystal clear reflections is an incredible experience. We bike a challenging 7 km upward on a twisting route that ends in a sudden curve. cycling 16 km downhill over a winding, hillside path to Meo Vac Town. Before heading off on the tarmac road and cycling through breathtaking rocky mountain scenery to the Mau Due stretch, regroup and stop for coffee.
While riding through the center of the Dong Van area, we will be rewarded with excellent sightseeing and the stunning beauty of the Dong Van Geopark. Gather for refreshments before making the difficult climb to Mau Due - Lung Ho summit, where we will have a picnic lunch. After a hearty lunch, we get off the bike and ride downhill to Du Gia village.

Day 05: Du Gia – Ha Giang cycling tours

After bidding our host farewell, we start our exciting cycling day from the village, riding uphill to the summit for 10 km before rolling down to Minh Son and Minh Ngoc Commune for a picnic. The highlight of our second day in Ha Giang Town was seeing the city and sampling the native beer. After dinner, spend the night in Ha Giang.

Day 06: Ha Giang – Hoang Su Phi Mountain Bike
Cycle from the hotel to Tan Quang town on an undulating tarmac road before turning off to cross the long pass. Show off the surreal scenery, verdant woodland, and interesting rice terraces. Eat lunch on the way. Following lunch, we continue riding through Heavenly Gate and descend to Thien Nguyen commune via friendly tribal villages. We start from the hotel and cycle through the town to reach the challenging pass, which is the natural boundary between the provinces of Ha Giang and Lao Cai. Today is a difficult day with mixed roads, single tracks, and off roads to Bac Ha. reaching the summit in time for a picnic. After lunch, we take a single-track path that leads to Lung Cai commune and then descends a hill to Bac Ha Town.You have the rest of the day to yourself.Spend the evening and the night in Bac Ha.

Day 08; Bac Ha bike ride Coc Ly  - Lao Cai - Sapa
We start riding downhill to Lao Cai city via Ban Phen Road after a substantial breakfast. After arriving in the city, we ride for a while before turning off national route 4 D and heading to Sapa town. We eat lunch en route and continue our long ascent to the town. You have a great opportunity to take pictures and enjoy the breathtaking scenery from your bicycle while traveling. Late afternoon arrival at the hotel; settle in and unwind.

Day 09: Sapa  cycling toursTram Ton Pass - Binh Lu - Lai Chau 
We begin our new cycling adventure day from the hotel or by taking a transfer to avoid rushing through town to the cycling station where our bikes will be available for an exciting day of riding!
We truly enjoy our morning ride, which consists of a few kilometers of gently rolling terrain with views of the Silver Water Fall. Following our picture op of the breathtaking waterfall, we bravely tackle the difficult and steep 3 kilometer pass up to Tram Ton summit. When we reach the summit, we are greeted with breathtaking views of Fansipan Peak and other stunning landscapes.
the tallest mountain in Vietnam. The majority of your bike will be downhill in Binh Lu. Before you reach Binh Lu, you will make a break stop at the Black Hmong town of Chu Va. Here, you'll eat lunch at a nearby eatery. It takes a lot of work to bike through the Lu minority villages of Pabe, Na Hum, and Ban Hon after lunch. The remainder of the day will be spent primarily uphill. There will be a community that you can visit. After that, you'll probably require the supply car's assistance in a few places. After that, it's an easy ride downhill all the way to Lai Chau, where you spend the night in a hotel.

Day 10: Cycling route Lai Chau - Nam Loong - Seo Lang - Sin Ho -  Muong Lay
After breakfast, we leave Lai Chau town and get ready on our bikes at the hotel to begin a full day of cycling uphill to cross amazing, lengthy, and difficult passes before arriving at the Sin Ho plateau. Taking a little break and riding to Nam Loong village to see the breathtaking scenery and remarkable rice terraces.
Keep pushing past the lengthy obstacle that tests your tenacity and resolve to surpass oneself. Views of the expansive valleys are available from this bicycling path that winds through the hills. Lunch is served en route. Reaching Sin Ho town. After refueling, we set out on our bikes to tackle a challenging 7 km high pass that winds up a rough mountainside to reach the peak. As soon as we reached the summit of the mountain, we checked our equipment and down a narrow route to the riverbank. You will have time to take in the breathtaking surroundings and visit a Thai minority village, which is the largest ethnic community in this region. Bike along the riverbank route where ethnic communities live in villages and preserve parts of their traditional cultures, like the stilt-built Thai houses. Lunch is served immediately. Continue traveling to Muong Lay town so you can spend the night in a motel. You can take a bike around the town to explore the area upstream of the Da River (the Black River) during the remainder of the afternoon.

Day 11: Muong Lay - Muong Cha - Dien Bien Phu bicycle tours
Riding on paved roads and winding through rice paddies, forests with canopies, and a mountain range is going to be another difficult and challenging day.
After properly replenishing our energies for breakfast, we set off early on our bikes from the motel. We truly love the last few kilometers of the town's pleasant, flat road. As soon as we get to the main road, we get our bikes ready to tackle the first 7-kilometer ascent. Nevertheless, the stunning view of the rough mountains and amazing scenery make your efforts worthwhile. Fresh tropical fruits, cold water, small drinks, and snacks will be available for your pleasure as soon as you arrive on the hill. Our cycling adventure tours in North West Vietnam continue with a second stage that involves cycling over a difficult and steep hill pass for three kilometers at the top of the route in the morning.
Before entering a peaceful valley with strange hilltribal communities and circling the river to meet Muang Cha Town, we checked our equipment.It is midday when you arrive in Muong Cha. You can stroll around a neighborhood market here.Either a picnic meal made by the hotel or lunch at a nearby restaurant will be served to you.
You proceed toward Dien Bien Phu after lunch. You'll keep traveling down a nice road, and the scenic route will make the journey even more delightful. When you reach Dien Bien Phu, the route will first be level, then downhill. Huge rice fields and mountains encircle the bustling town. Day 12: Dien Bien Phu  Bike Tour Tuan Giao
After a filling breakfast at the hotel, we head over to Dien Bien City's historical sites, including the Dien Bien Phu Museum, Hill A1, and the De Castry bunker. We start our new 74-kilometer cycle ride from Dien Bien Phu to Tuan Giao on a newly constructed paved tarmac route. We shall be splitting our journey into two halves today.The first stage has more hills and is more difficult than the second part, which is in the afternoon and has more descending roads and breathtaking views.
We ride our bikes for 30 km on a beautiful, steep route that leads to Tang Quai Pass, starting from the hotel and traveling through the city on two-lane roads. You will be rewarded by vibrant hill tribes, breathtaking scenery, and abundant nature. When we reach the summit, we have a picnic lunch stop. Following lunch, we cycle downhill to Muang Ang Town, passing through a village and a river before arriving at Tuan Giao Town.

Day 13: Tuan Giao Cycle Tour Son La
We have a very difficult, demanding, and demanding day ahead of us on our cycling journey; please make sure that we are all properly recharged before climbing one of the longest and most amazing passes in Northwest Vietnam. Dien Bien and Son La province are connected by the 45-kilometer Pa Din Pass. For those cyclists who want to challenge and experience cycling independently, whether domestically and internationally, the Pa Din pass is now a valuable waiting pass.
After grabbing our pedals at the hotel, we bike for 6 km on a mellow course before climbing for 15 km on a twisting road that snakes up a rough mountain range to the Pha Din pass, also known as the "heaven and earth pass," which is located at an elevation of 1450 m. After taking a picture at the top of the slope, we put on our jackets, check the brakes, and ride downhill to Thuan Chau town for lunch. The lovely scenery along the route, which includes karst valleys and verdant rice fields, will enthrall you. Water buffaloes roaming around, little Thai and Hmong children.Following a delectable picnic lunch, we pedal a few undulating miles and conquer the final high climb before riding downhill to Son La City.

Day 14: Cycling Tours Son La   - Moc Chau

Day 15: Moc Chau Mountian Bike Tours  - Mai Chau - Hanoi
After replenishing our energy reserves for the day's activities, we mount our bikes from the homestay and ride through a tranquil Hmong village, peach farm, tea plantation, and herbal plants on single-track dirt roads and concrete roads.Along the route, we also run upon curious children and hill tribe laborers at a farm. Riding on rocky roads further leads to Old National Road 6, which meanders down a hillside and into a riverside. Enjoy the surreal surroundings, enigmatic Hmong villages, and verdant tropical forest as you descend to Bai Sang Reservoir. Taking a lunchtime transfer from Bai Sang to Mai Chau. After lunch, travel the remaining distance between Mai Chau and Hanoi. Taking a three-hour bus ride to unwind and let our feet drop. when you get to the hotel. Pick-up location
Most of our trips begin from our bike garage (both private and group tours), so transportation from your hotel to our bike shop (or v.v) is not included in the quote. We can arrange the service (with extra charge), and reservation needs to be made in advance.

Occasionally our tour itineraries are updated during the year to incorporate improvements stemming from past travelers’ comments and our own research. Please note that while we operate successful cycling holidays in Vietnam throughout the year, some changes may occur in our itineraries due to inclement weather and common seasonal changes to timetables and transport routes. This can happen with little notice so please be prepared for modifications to the route. The order and timing of included activities in each location may also vary from time to time.

Price
Negotiating prices is a common practice in Vietnam, particularly in open-air markets, street shops, and rural areas. However, we are not good at bargaining and do not prefer this practice. Instead, we focus our time and efforts on tour arrangements, and our prices are fixed.

Safety
Wearing a helmet is compulsory on all our biking adventures. Our tour guide often carry first aid kit while riding. Please follow your guide while biking, and much attention is required while you cross streets.

Difficulty levels
To assist you visualize how our bike trip is difficult, we have graded our Vietnam cycling tours into three categories, easy, moderate, and challenging. We group many factors into consideration into this grading, including distant covered, terrain, altitude, and vehicle support.

Easy
Involves cycling for up to two to three hours a day at easy pace and usually, less than 3 days in duration. The cycling distances is around 15 – 30 km per day. There are likely to be no steep and sustained descents as well as demand for technical riding. We will normally ride on flat roads. Suitable for bikers who enjoy occasional weekend riding on trails at home. Push bikes are sometimes used for these itineraries.

Moderate
Involves biking for up to six hours a day at a steady pace and are usually between three to five days in duration. The cycling distance is about 35 – 55 km per day. Sometimes it can be long flat rides or medium ride with few up and downhill climbs. The support vehicle will not always be available. We will need a good level of fitness. We use either mountain bikes or road bikes for these itineraries.

Challenging
Involves biking in mountainous areas with big climbs for up to seven or eight hours a day and usually more than a week in duration. Cycling distance is about 60 – 80 km per day. There will be steep and sustained ascents and descents. The support vehicle will not always be available. These trips will provide a real sustained workout even for fit and experienced mountain bikers.

Accommodation
When cycling we mostly stay in small hotel, guesthouse or homestay. Some are more basic than others! Bear in mind that some of the places we overnight in are not on the standard tourist trail. In larger cities and towns, our hotels are generally more western style and are three or four star hotels (price option).

Camping is not available on cycling tours in Vietnam unless it is required and this should be booked months in advance. Camping is only available in a limited number of places such as Cat Ba island beach, Cuc Phuong national park…Please see the details on the quote.

Tour guide
Most of our tour guides speak English. Some other speak French. Few speak other language such as German, Russian, Spanish. All our guides have great knowledge of history, local culture, and religions of the area where you are cycling. Our guides have been trained in this field and is fully licensed in tour guiding.

Bike mechanic
We arrange a bike mechanic only for large groups or when it is required (with surcharge). When there is no mechanic, our guide will take care of problem which may occur during the bike ride.

Transportation
Depending on the nature of the tour, our cycle journeys will be accompanied by an air-conditioned car/minibus cover the larger overland sections. We often use mini bus or bus for transfer and back up (guided tours).
1 – 2 travelers: we use minivan to support and carry bikes. Sometimes we use a car for passengers and a truck for transport of the bikes.
3 – 6 people: we use one minivan for passengers and one truck for the bikes.
7 – 12 people: we use one bus (coach) for passengers and one truck for the bikes.
We provide bike rental and truck for self-guided bike tours.

We sometimes use local push-bikes (single-speed bicycles) where possible or when it is required. In this case, our cars will be arranged as follows.
1 – 2 passengers (with a tour guide): 4 seat car.
3 – 6 passengers (with a tour guide): 15/16 seat minivan.
7 – 12 passengers (with a tour guide): 29 seat coach/bus.

Bikes repairs
Basic spares and tools kit are generally carried by our guide or bike mechanic or on the support vehicle, although we can not guarantee having spares for every conceivable problem.

Food and drinks
All the meals which, are mentioned in itinerary (B=Breakfast; L=Lunch; D=Dinner), are included in the tour price. Most of meals are Vietnamese local food. Vegetarians are certainly welcome and are always accommodated, please let us know of any dietary concerns at time of booking. Beverage and alcoholic drinks are not included at mealtime or in restaurants.

Snacks and water
When we transfer, ride by minibus (no cycling day), our bottled waters are always available for you in the car/van. When we have cycling days, we will offer cold water (summer) plus fresh tropical fruits, soft drinks are also available in the car/van. Please take a look at the “Inclusions” section on our our service proposal to see whether the service is included in the price. Please note drinks are not included at mealtime or in restaurant.

Packing
Comfortable lightweight clothing in natural fabrics such as cotton is most suitable for traveling in Vietnam. The dress code is fairly casual as in most parts of the tropics but it is advisable to cover arms and legs in the evenings against biting insects. A lightweight raincoat is a good idea in the rainy season. During the winter months warm clothing is needed for visiting the north of Vietnam. Visitors should not wear shorts, short skirts or other skimpy clothing when visiting religious buildings such as pagoda, temple and shoes should be removed before entering a private home.
What you take will naturally depend upon where you are traveling and the style of journey you are undertaking, and it can often be difficult to decide what to pack. Nevertheless, the following should act as a useful checklist of essential items worth thinking about taking.

Tipping
Tipping for good services is always appreciated. It is customary, though not compulsory, to tip tour guides and drivers at the end of the tour. Hotels and station porters should also be tipped a small amount for.
We recommend about 4-6 USD/traveler/day for the tour guide, about 2-3 USD/traveler/day for the driver (or the mechanic). Of course you are free to tip more or less as you see fit, depending on your perception of service quality, the length and the difficulty of your trip.

Community
Prior to our tours, we contact and work with local community leaders to make sure we are welcome and in a manner that minimizes negative social and cultural impacts. We visit local development and community projects specific to the region, encouraging customers to donate and assist such a projects in appropriate and sustainable manner.
Where make sure that where and whenever possible our tours positively benefit the local community. We stayed at locally owned accommodation and visit cottage industries for local handicraft souvenir, generating income for local business. We often employ, hire support team such as local guide, motor-taxi drivers, cook assistants on all trips to ensure that the local community benefit not only short term but with increased employment opportunities for the future.
