Funan Cruise 3 days Cai Be-Sa Dec-Can Tho Or Vice Versa

Day 1: SAIGON - CAI BE - MY THUAN - SA DEC
8:00am: Pick up at your hotel in Saigon and depart to Mekong Delta.
(Pickup and transfer service from hotel in Saigon is available on request in the next step)
-12h00pm boarding Funan boat. Enjoy welcome drink. Continue our cruise toward Sa Dec via My Thuan, a nice and quiet  town overlooking Mekong river.
-Visit the lively Sa Dec food market and primary school headed by Magueritte Duras, Huynh Thuy Le Old House, Kien An Cung, Cao Dai Temple.
-Walks along the village path and get yourself acquaintance with rural activities  as farmers farm their fields & orchards.
-Back to our boat for a cruise down stream. Relax on boat while sipping an aperitif .
-Dinner and overnight on board in Sa Dec.

Day 2: SA DEC - CAI BE - VINH LONG - TRA ON
-Breakfast on board.
-Cruise back to Cai Be. In the morning, the noise of the floating market wake you up, visit the daily life of the local people who live on both sides of the Mekong river.
-Embark small motor boat to explore the lively Cai Be floating market in the morning. Walking for visit a handicraft village of the local people and sample various tropical fruits, and walking around this area to see local people who are doing daily activities.
-Return to Funan boat.
-Lunch served on board.
-Continue cruising to Tra On via Cho Lach, Mang Thit.
-Up to river tide, disembark and make a  pleasant walking or biking on the footpaths of the countryside to discover tropical fruit orchards and the local people's activities, especially somes orchards with its famer in Quoi An – Mang Thit – Vinh Long.
-Boarding back, complimentary drink as a welcome back on board. Open bar and rest on the deck enjoying the sunset. The crew will serve dinner while the Funan is cruising to Tra On.
-Dinner and night on board in Tra On. 

Day 3: TRA ON - CAN THO - DISEMBARK
-The noise of the floating market wake you up early in the morning. After breakfast, the cruise to continue to Can Tho. Enjoy the magnificent sunrise on the river. Leisurely cruise up the BASSAC river while enyoying the beautiful scenery.
-Arrive Can Tho, a small boat will take you explore the Cai Rang market one of the most bustling floating markets in Mekong Delta with hundreds of small boats barging and jostling for space as owners attempt to sell their goods. And through the palm-shaded creek to see local houses and green orchards.
-10h00am: Return and disembarkation of the boat in Can Tho. From here, you can continue to your adventure to Chau Doc and Phnom Penh, Cambodia or go to Phu Quoc Island via Rach Gia or return to your hotel in Saigon. Arrive to your hotel around 14:30. End of the cruise.

English or French speaking staff on board, boat cruising featured in the program in details, all meals as mentionned (lunch, dinner and breakfast) and overnight on board, all entrance fees, walking or biking tour up to health’s situation of clients.

The boats
We have three boats named Funan Cruises respectively. Funan Cruise makes a good representation for all. It is a modern and tastefully designed river boat. Built in traditional style, Funan Cruise measures around 30 meters long from bow to stern and has two 420 HP engines, making it a very powerful and safe river vessel.

The cabins
Funan Cruises offers a unique and fulfilling way to explore endless waterway of Mekong River. All our cabins are equipped with clean private toilet, hot water and air-conditioner. Funan Cruises boats also have spacious sun desks for guests to relax and savor panoramic views of Mekong Delta.

The restaurants
The Funan Restaurant brings you delicious meals with all local delicacies: deep-fried elephant-ear fish, crispy spring rolls, fish grilled in banana leaf, squid, crab or scallop with cream sauce, sweet-sour soup with sesbania flower, etc. All will please your taste.

Onboard information
For your safety and comfort, we are operating a strict non-smoking policy indoors. Smoking is allowed in outside areas only, eg the Sundeck Safety instruction signs are available in all cabins and public areas. Life jackets are kept in your wardrobe and also in main public areas. In case of emergency, each passenger is requested to proceed at once to the muster stations indicated with signs and await instructions. Funan Cruises is equipped with 220 volt electricity, with European and American standard sockets. Other types of electrical adaptors are available upon request. Bottled water is provided in all cabins daily. The ship also brings along enough city water for daily use during the entire trip.
