Day 01; Hanoi Arrival'
Greetings from Vietnam. When you arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, a driver and guide from Golden Trail Travel will meet you and take you to the hotel located in the center of Hanoi. Hanoi, the historic and vibrant capital of Vietnam, is home to some of Asia's most remarkable colonial buildings as well as a distinct old world charm. Following check-in, unwind on your own while discussing the schedule for the next few days with our guide. Take a cyclo ride through the Old Quarter's busy streets to explore Hanoi's blend of modern and historical charm. Day 02: Hanoi Transfer Tuyen Quang and Cycle to Ha Giang
After a substantial breakfast at the hotel and a two-hour ride in our shuttle van to the cycling location, we left the busy city behind. We pick up our bikes at the cycling station and begin the strenuous 21-day Ha Giang Bicile Loop and Central Coast Vietnam. We ride along beautiful roads, passing through quaint villages and breathtaking farmlands, until we reach Son Duong town for lunch.
After lunch, we ride our bikes through beautiful landscape on tarmac roads to Tuyen Quang. From there, we pull off onto National Road No. 2 to Vi Xuyen Town. traveling the remaining distance to check into a hotel in Ha Giang.Check into the hotel and eat at a nearby restaurant for dinner.

Day 03: Ha Giang Cycling loop– Yen Minh
We left town this morning, pedaling the first 25 kilometers over a comparatively uneven road amid the scenery of terraced rice paddies, after filling up on energy for breakfast. We ride for the following 25 km, passing past minority communities and up winding roads into the massive limestone mountain range with its vertical rock walls. We climb 800 meters towards the mountain road pass known as "Heaven gate 1." The people in the mountain villages we pass through, often shrouded in clouds, will greet us warmly. From the pass, we have breathtaking views all around, including the well-known scene of the Tam Son valley with the "Twin Hills" and the ability to see Quan Ba town.Lunch on the summit while taking in the gorgeous surroundings. We rode our bikes down to the riverfront after lunch and continued down the Gam River until we came to another pass. The first few kilometers of our ride are uphill, followed by a roughly 10-kilometer descent and the next 10-kilometer stretch of mostly level ground. We have a strenuous ascent and descend to a height of 1.025 meters before making our last 15-kilometer descent into Yenh Minh. The local hill tribes' traditional dwellings will be open for us to view.

Day 04: Bike Tours Yen Minh – Dong Van
Riding a bike in the heart of the internationally recognized Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, today is an amazing and wonderful day spent with us on the Ha Giang Bike Loop.
After a filling breakfast at the hotel, head to the vibrant hill tribal market next door, and start cycling along Happiness Road to Dong Van. Riding your bike to the summit rewards you with stunning views of the Karsk Plateau and unspoiled environment. After making a stop to see and explore the Hmong King Palace (also known as Vuong Chi Sinh Palace), we will cycle on to the Lung Cu Pole Flag Tower. Eat lunch on the way. We continue cycling on back roads to Dong Van Town after lunch. Once you've arrived, check in and enjoy some alone time.

Day 05: Cycling Route Dong Van – Lung Cu  Plag Tower -  Meo Vac
After a filling breakfast at the hotel, our support vehicle makes the hour-long trip to the Lung Cu Pole Plag tower. After reaching Lung Cu, drive an electric vehicle to the flag pole to see and investigate it. From there, enjoy the breathtaking mountain ranges and lovely surroundings. We descend to the riding point where our bikes are available for the day after viewing the Lung Cu Landmark.
Starting on a gravel road, we ride our bikes through some steep passes, a twisting path, and some hairpin curves before arriving in Dong Van Town and Ma Le Valley.
After reaching Dong Van town, get back together to replenish your energy. We carry on toward Ma Pi Leng Pass. Take pleasure in two kilometers of level road before ascending the magnificent Ma Phi Leng pass, which connects the cities of Dong Van and Meo Vac. Riding a bicycle up a mountainside to observe the breathtaking surroundings while taking in the glistening Nho Que River water reflected in crystal clear reflections is an incredible experience.
We bike a challenging 7 km upward on a twisting route that ends in a sudden curve. cycling 16 km downhill over a winding, hillside path to Meo Vac Town. When you get there, Meo Vac, check in and unwind on your own.

Day 06: Meo Vac Cycle To  Mau Due  - Du Gia
We are making fantastic progress toward exploring and conquering the Dong Van geological plateau today.
Enjoy a robust cup of coffee following a filling breakfast at a nearby restaurant, such as toast with chicken and egg or noodle soup with beef or chicken. We begin our cycling adventure at the border town of Meo Vac, ride out of town, and then begin our endurance test on a gravel road with a slope of more than 5 km and an elevation of more than 200 meters. Finally, to get to the Sa Phin settlement, concrete zigzags between the cliffs. This is where the long slope starts to weave through a forest of high, jagged rocks, or it passes past towering, cat-eared rocky mountains, creating a sight as majesty, enigmatic, and poetic as thoughtful rock paintings. extolling the grandeur of heaven
Before reaching the second pass, the M-pass, which traverses both sides of the mountain range to reach the Mau Due valley for lunch, our route swiftly drops to the valley.
We overcome the last two mountains, Mau Due Lung Ho Summit, and then descend into Du Gia valley after replenishing for the next trek. The breathtaking views along the route constantly fill us with enthusiasm and drive to complete the remaining distance.

Day 07: Du Gia – Minh Ngoc – Ha Giang Bicycle Loop

After bidding our host farewell, we start our final Ha Giang bicycle trip in the far north of Vietnam from the village. We ride uphill to the summit for 10 kilometers before descending to Minh Son and Minh Ngoc Commune for a picnic. After refueling, we ride on a picturesque route to Minh Ngoc town, stopping along the way to see a tranquil community of hill tribes.

Day 09: Hue –City Bike Tours
After breakfast, you'll tinker with the bike and begin your 12-day Vietnam Central Coast cycling tour, stopping along the way to view Hue's city, fortress, and royal tomb. Buildings
One of Vietnam's principal hubs for culture, religion, and education is Hue. Hue is currently the only historically significant city in Vietnam still standing. The 11km-long Perfume River, which goes by the romantic moniker of "Perfume," is home to many of Hue's attractions. More than a hundred architectural pieces, reflecting the lives of emperors and mandarins under Nguyen's rule, are included in this priceless masterpiece. We also take a ride to see the ancient kings' graves. The exquisite graves of the Nguyen Kings are located on the southern bank of the Perfume River, nestled between the hills. These include the four well-known tombs, each of whose name and layout reflects the opinions, characteristics, and preferences of the respective Emperor. These are the grandiose Gia Long tomb, the commanding Minh Mang tomb, the lyrical Tu Duc tomb, and the splendid Khai Dinh tomb. Hue's ancient citadel remnants are too important to overlook for any architect interested in learning about Vietnam's ancient architecture. In the late afternoon, we return by bicycle to the hotel and are free until dinnertime. After dinner at a nearby restaurant, spend the night in a hotel.

Day 10: Hue – Lang Co Beach Bicyce Trip
We begin the day with a leisurely breakfast at the hotel before riding to the Thanh Toan covered roof bridge. Along the way, you'll be treated to stunning views of both imperial cities and rural villages. The typical view of community housing, local marketplaces, and traditional Vietnamese homes will pique your attention. You stand a strong probability of interacting with amiable individuals. When you arrive in Thanh Toan Village, take some time to explore and snap pictures of the amazing covered roof bridge, which was constructed in 1776 by a generous-hearted woman. Our bicycle trips proceed by passing through tranquil towns, a lagoon, and Thuan An Beach. Take a quick break to enjoy some tropical fruits and cold water.We also travel through an intriguing village with hundreds of wonderful museums. We have a full day ahead of us filled with energy and water before taking on the spectacular Hai Van Pass. Commence riding from the hotel, bear left onto Highway No. 1, and ascend 13 km to the summit. You will be rewarded with beautiful landscapes, clouds, and the ocean along the way. Enjoy breathtaking views of Da Nang and Lang Co from the summits. After reaching the peak. You have access to tropical fruit, cold water, and a snack. After taking a photo and rehydrating, ride along the coast for 12 km to Da Nang City, passing resort complexes with enticing white sand beaches, and arriving at Hoi An Town. Check in and enjoy a refreshing beer when you get in Hoi An in the late afternoon. Eat dinner and spend the night at the hotel.

Day 12: Hoi An Back road Bike Ride
Hoi An, a Vietnamese world heritage site, has long served as a crossroads of cultures and has maintained its historic beauty despite having experienced approximately 300 cycles of the four seasons. The street layout and structures inside this singular cultural site are a reflection of the diverse range of influences that have come together throughout time.Cycling offers you an exciting challenge in both rural villages and ancient towns. We depart from the hotel and travel by paved, single-track road through serene villages, past water coconut palm trees, and into the bustling town of Hoi An. Spend some time taking this amazing picture of the Japanese covered bridge and communal homes. then on to the ancient ceramic villages of Thanh Ha, the herb hamlet of Tra Que, and the workshops of Thuy Linh Lattern lamp shades before returning to Hoi An for lunch. After leaving the quaint town behind, we'll take a little boat ride across the Thu Bon River to Duy Hai hamlet, from where we'll cycle by numerous fishing villages along the coast to Ha Lam town, where we'll continue on to Tam Ky town for lunch before catching a bus. We ride to the My Lai Massacre, which is now a museum of the War Remnants in Quang Ngai province, after lunch. We drive to Chi Thanh Town. We stayed at the hotel for the night tonight.

Turn left to Xuan Hoa before approaching Highway N01; bike through Rual Village to take in the serene seaside beauty; then cross a wood bridge to return to the highway in Xuan Canh, Song Cau. Enjoy lunch while traveling, then make a quick transfer to Tuy An, where we start at Gheng Da Dia and go along the coast to Tuy Hoa city. As we travel through the golden sand desert to Phan Thiet, take in the gorgeous surroundings and unspoiled sand beach. While traveling, stop to chat with locals and sample some of their fruits. We get to the resort early so we can go swimming. have dinner and spend the night at the hotel.

Day 20: Phan Thiet – Ke Ga.- Ho Tram Cycling Trip
Get up early to enjoy the expansive ocean vista, or take a leisurely stroll across Doi Hong's golden sand desert. After a filling breakfast at the hotel, we ride along the coast to Phan Thiet City, which is the hub for fish sauce and resort industries. Despite the year-round heat and hardships faced by the populace, the province boasts a lengthy stretch of beaches with emerald sand. Enjoy a lovely 35-kilometer bike ride that leads to Ke Ga. Eat lunch along the way, and then continue cycling the final 48 kilometers to Ho Tram.

Price
Negotiating prices is a common practice in Vietnam, particularly in open-air markets, street shops, and rural areas. However, we are not good at bargaining and do not prefer this practice. Instead, we focus our time and efforts on tour arrangements, and our prices are fixed.

Safety
Wearing a helmet is compulsory on all our biking adventures. Our tour guide often carry first aid kit while riding. Please follow your guide while biking, and much attention is required while you cross streets.

Difficulty levels
To assist you visualize how our bike trip is difficult, we have graded our Vietnam cycling tours into three categories, easy, moderate, and challenging. We group many factors into consideration into this grading, including distant covered, terrain, altitude, and vehicle support.

Involves cycling for up to two to three hours a day at easy pace and usually, less than 3 days in duration. The cycling distances is around 15 – 30 km per day. There are likely to be no steep and sustained descents as well as demand for technical riding. We will normally ride on flat roads. Suitable for bikers who enjoy occasional weekend riding on trails at home. Push bikes are sometimes used for these itineraries.

Moderate
Involves biking for up to six hours a day at a steady pace and are usually between three to five days in duration. The cycling distance is about 35 – 55 km per day. Sometimes it can be long flat rides or medium ride with few up and downhill climbs. The support vehicle will not always be available. We will need a good level of fitness. We use either mountain bikes or road bikes for these itineraries.

Challenging
Involves biking in mountainous areas with big climbs for up to seven or eight hours a day and usually more than a week in duration. Cycling distance is about 60 – 80 km per day. There will be steep and sustained ascents and descents. The support vehicle will not always be available. These trips will provide a real sustained workout even for fit and experienced mountain bikers.

Accommodation
When cycling we mostly stay in small hotel, guesthouse or homestay. Some are more basic than others! Bear in mind that some of the places we overnight in are not on the standard tourist trail. In larger cities and towns, our hotels are generally more western style and are three or four star hotels (price option).

Camping is not available on cycling tours in Vietnam unless it is required and this should be booked months in advance. Camping is only available in a limited number of places such as Cat Ba island beach, Cuc Phuong national park…Please see the details on the quote.

Tour guide
Most of our tour guides speak English. Some other speak French. Few speak other language such as German, Russian, Spanish. All our guides have great knowledge of history, local culture, and religions of the area where you are cycling. Our guides have been trained in this field and is fully licensed in tour guiding.

Bike mechanic
We arrange a bike mechanic only for large groups or when it is required (with surcharge). When there is no mechanic, our guide will take care of problem which may occur during the bike ride.

Transportation
Depending on the nature of the tour, our cycle journeys will be accompanied by an air-conditioned car/minibus cover the larger overland sections. We often use mini bus or bus for transfer and back up (guided tours).
1 – 2 travelers: we use minivan to support and carry bikes. Sometimes we use a car for passengers and a truck for transport of the bikes.
3 – 6 people: we use one minivan for passengers and one truck for the bikes.
7 – 12 people: we use one bus (coach) for passengers and one truck for the bikes.
We provide bike rental and truck for self-guided bike tours.

We sometimes use local push-bikes (single-speed bicycles) where possible or when it is required. In this case, our cars will be arranged as follows.
1 – 2 passengers (with a tour guide): 4 seat car.
3 – 6 passengers (with a tour guide): 15/16 seat minivan.
7 – 12 passengers (with a tour guide): 29 seat coach/bus.

Bikes repairs
Basic spares and tools kit are generally carried by our guide or bike mechanic or on the support vehicle, although we can not guarantee having spares for every conceivable problem.

Food and drinks
All the meals which, are mentioned in itinerary (B=Breakfast; L=Lunch; D=Dinner), are included in the tour price. Most of meals are Vietnamese local food. Vegetarians are certainly welcome and are always accommodated, please let us know of any dietary concerns at time of booking. Beverage and alcoholic drinks are not included at mealtime or in restaurants.

Snacks and water
When we transfer, ride by minibus (no cycling day), our bottled waters are always available for you in the car/van. When we have cycling days, we will offer cold water (summer) plus fresh tropical fruits, soft drinks are also available in the car/van. Please take a look at the “Inclusions” section on our our service proposal to see whether the service is included in the price. Please note drinks are not included at mealtime or in restaurant.

Packing
Comfortable lightweight clothing in natural fabrics such as cotton is most suitable for traveling in Vietnam. The dress code is fairly casual as in most parts of the tropics but it is advisable to cover arms and legs in the evenings against biting insects. A lightweight raincoat is a good idea in the rainy season. During the winter months warm clothing is needed for visiting the north of Vietnam. Visitors should not wear shorts, short skirts or other skimpy clothing when visiting religious buildings such as pagoda, temple and shoes should be removed before entering a private home.
What you take will naturally depend upon where you are traveling and the style of journey you are undertaking, and it can often be difficult to decide what to pack. Nevertheless, the following should act as a useful checklist of essential items worth thinking about taking.

Tipping
Tipping for good services is always appreciated. It is customary, though not compulsory, to tip tour guides and drivers at the end of the tour. Hotels and station porters should also be tipped a small amount for.
We recommend about 4-6 USD/traveler/day for the tour guide, about 2-3 USD/traveler/day for the driver (or the mechanic). Of course you are free to tip more or less as you see fit, depending on your perception of service quality, the length and the difficulty of your trip.

Community
Prior to our tours, we contact and work with local community leaders to make sure we are welcome and in a manner that minimizes negative social and cultural impacts. We visit local development and community projects specific to the region, encouraging customers to donate and assist such a projects in appropriate and sustainable manner.
Where make sure that where and whenever possible our tours positively benefit the local community. We stayed at locally owned accommodation and visit cottage industries for local handicraft souvenir, generating income for local business. We often employ, hire support team such as local guide, motor-taxi drivers, cook assistants on all trips to ensure that the local community benefit not only short term but with increased employment opportunities for the future.
