At 8:30 am, you will be picked up from your hotel by Hiking Vietnam local team and transferred to Ba Vi National Park, which is approximately 1.5 hours away from Hanoi. Upon arrival, you will drive until you reach an altitude of 1,100m above sea level, where you will park your car and begin your climb. There are two short trails to follow, leading up to two temples dedicated to the Mountain God.
Once you reach the Upper Temple, you will be able to capture the most breathtaking panoramic view of the Ba Vi Mountain Range. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant, featuring simple Vietnamese food.
After lunch, the Ba Vi National Park day trip continues with another short hike of about 2km through the forest. The trekking route begins at an altitude of 1,100m and finishes at an altitude of 400m. It can be quite challenging due to steep slopes, and it can be very slippery during the rainy season.
During the hike, you will encounter many big trees, such as the giant thousand-year-old Green Cypresses, which is one of the world’s rare species preserved in the primeval forest at an altitude of 1,000m. There are also many species of birds, reptiles, and amphibians waiting for you to discover along the way.
Your Ba Vi National Park trekking tour ends at Ba Trai Village, which is a 500ha-area of tea plantation, where your car will be waiting for you to begin your journey back to Hanoi.
