Day 1: Ho Chi Minh Arrival – Welcome Dinner (D)

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh Arrival – Welcome Dinner (D)
On the arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh City, teachers and students will be picked and driven to the booked hotel in the city center for check-in. Completed the check-in procedure, we will have free time to relax before transferring for dinner at a nice restaurant.
Day 2: Cu Chi Tunnels – Cricket Farm (B, L, D
After having breakfast, all the members will gather then meet the local tour guide and driver; and you will be driven to the lobby of the hotel then go on a comfortable ride to Cu Chi Tunnel for a half-day visit. Cu Chi Tunnels is quite far from the Ho Chi Minh City center, in Cu Chi district. There is a hugely complex of connecting tunnels laid underground that once were the facility of the country military during American wars. When coming to this location, you could enjoy watching a video introducing the formation, vital roles,… of Cu Chi tunnels. The most striking experience is that tourists will have chances to crawl in the tunnel system, sip on some special cassava or tea (free serving in the tour). Next, move to the shooting range and try to shoot with real bullets if you like.
Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant before transferring to Cricket Farm. Have you ever tried to eat the food from insects? If not, you can have a taste here. Students will learn about how to farm and cook crickets with native people.
Before the sunset, we return to Ho Chi Minh, take a rest, and go out for dinner on cruise. Tourists can simultaneously enjoy the dinner and sightsee scenes around the Sai Gon River. After that, you will come back to the hotel.
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City Tour (B, L, D)
Teachers and students will have breakfast at the hotel before transferring to The Reunification Palace, a political location of the old government in South Vietnam within the American war period; taking a stroll to the War Remnants Museum.
Then, have lunch at a local restaurant. After that, all the members can participate in a Race around Sai Gon. We will go around the city to famous sites such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, The Old Post Office, Ben Thanh markets. Getting closer to local people with a bunch of fun activities like a shuttlecock, chat with locals. Teachers can organize some educational activities for students, for example, ask them to observe and write down a report about one culture characteristic of Vietnam.
Have dinner at a restaurant run by local children. Return the hotel for overnight in Saigon. Besides, free evening activities available for you include: jogging around the night market; explore amazing building Bitexco in Saigon.
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta (B, L, D)
In the morning, enjoy the breakfast before we head for the tranquil My Tho in the Mekong Delta in the South of Vietnam. This attraction provides tourists with a huge number of boats for cruising along the delta, the activity becomes similar to tourists. A boat trip will be an occasion for visitors to know the life of people residing in the area.
For lunch, we could try local cuisine. The next destination in the afternoon is the Vinh Trang Pagoda which dated back to the 19th century. Besides, tourists will visit local homes, a special coconut candy workshop, explore a honeybee farm, try some featured fruit and also honey tea. If you want to learn about the traditional Southern singing, this is a chance for you to enjoy the wonderful performance.
Later, we go back to Ho Chi Minh City, have dinner on a cruise then rest in the hotel.
Day 5: Ho Chi Minh City departure (B)
On the last day of the schedule, teachers and students will have free time. The breakfast will be served before your hotel checkout. There will have cars to take teachers and students to Tan Son Nhat airport. The school trip ends.
