Welcome to Thailand! Upon arrival, your Bangkok guide will greet you at the airport with a welcome sign and escort you to your hotel for check in. You'll receive a short tour briefing in the lobby.

Then the rest of the day is at your leisure.

Today you'll visit the rich history of Ayutthaya from the 14th to 16th century. You'll be picked up from the hotel early in the morning (between 6AM and 7:15AM) and join a group to go see the ancient history of Thailand and Bangkok. You'll start by visiting the Bang Pa In Summer Palace which are beautiful gardens and pavilions that were used by the Thai kings of old since the 16th century.

Then you'll continue to visit the Ayutthaya ancient capital ruins.

At noon, embark on a lunch cruise on board the luxurious Grand Pearl Cruise. The superb lunch buffet and scenery along the shores of the Chao Phraya riverbank will be sure to leave fond memories in your mind and beautiful photos in your camera. As the dusk falls, you'll see the beautiful Wat Arun, or Temple of Dawn. After the cruise docks, you'll be returned to your hotel for the evening.

In the morning, you'll join a group tour to see the most prominent temples and the Grand Palace (pick up at your hotel is between 7:30AM and 8:30AM). The first destination is Wat Traimit, the temple of the golden Buddha. It weighs 5.5 tons of solid gold, and was sculpted in the Sukhothai style. Next see Wat Po - the most extensive temple in Bangkok with a colossal Reclining Buddha and the Chedis of the Kings.

Next, you'll visit The Grand Palace which encompasses several major buildings. The most prominent include The Throne Hall, The Reception Hall and The Coronation Hall.

Last you'll see Wat Phra Kaew - the chapel of the Emerald Buddha, which houses the world's most famous image of Buddha. The 75cm statue of jade sits atop an 11m golden pedestal surrounded by lavish murals and richly decorated pavilions. It's estimated value is around a quarter of a billion dollars!

After the tour, you'll be returned to your hotel. Your guide will meet you in the afternoon and escort you to the airport for your flight to Yangon.

Upon arrival, your Yangon guide will greet you and escort you to your hotel for check in.

Rise early in the morning to visit the Shwedagon Pagoda which is the largest pagoda in Yangon and is painted with real gold. In the early hours, the famous pagoda is relatively quiet and undisturbed and you'll see Burmese and monks praying in front.

Then you'll transfer back to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast you will visit the Reclining Buddha (Chaok-Htat-Gyi) and Maha Bandula Park. Around the park are some of the most important buildings in Myanmar which includes the High Court, Yangon City Hall, and Sule Pagoda. In the center of the park is an obelisk dedicated to the Burmese independence from Britain.

After lunch, you can rest at your leisure. Later, you'll enjoy some free time visiting Bogyoke Market, Yangon's famous China Town and Yangon Jetty.

You'll finish your day off at the riverside where the road is flanked by colonial-style buildings.

Transfer by flight today to Bagan. Upon arrival, your Bagan guide will greet you and escort you to your hotel for check in.

The remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore or relax at your hotel.

Today you'll explore Bagan, where you will see its thousands of Buddhist pagodas spread in the valley of the Ancient City of Bagan. These pagodas used to own by individual families during prosperous times. You will visit the Nyaung Oo Market where locals buy and sell produce.

Then you'll visit the Shwezigon Pagoda which is the largest pagoda in Bagan painted with real gold.

Have a rest in hotel during the hot afternoon. Then you'll enjoy a Horse Cart Ride first to the small village of Taung Phi where rests a worn teak monastery awaiting the rare tourists who are lost. You'll continue by horse cart around temples and winding roads as the sun makes it's way to the sky's edge casting curious shadows from the temples across the plain. Continue to Shesandaw Pagoda. From your vantage point, you'll watch one of the best sunsets in Southeast Asia.

Then you'll take a horse cart ride back to your hotel.

Today, you'll transfer by flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival, your Mandalay guide will greet you and take you to the hotel for check in.

In the afternoon, visit the 19th century Shwenandaw Monastery (Golden Palace Monastery) famous for its teak carvings of Buddhist mythology.

Next, you'll see the Kuthodaw Pagoda which is a Buddhist stupa that contains the world's largest book of Buddhism on “pages” of stone throughout the complex.

At the end of your day, you'll enjoy a gorgeous sunset from the top of Mandalay Hill.

Morning: Transfer by private vehicle to Sagiang, the capital of Sagiang Division located on the Irrawady River. You'll cross the Inwa Bridge, which was built by the British in 1934.

Then you'll visit the Maha Ganayon Kyaung Monastery to see hundreds of monks line up for daily meals. Then visit the U Bein Bridge which is 1.2 kilometers long and is the longest teakwood bridge in the world.

On the way back to Mandalay, you can stop to visit a Mahamuni Buddha Image situated on the outskirts of Mandalay city and highly adored by the people of Mandalay. It is adorned with golden leafs offered by worshipers.

Today, you'll transfer by  flight to Heho. Upon arrival, your guide will greet you at the airport and escort you to you resort at Inle Lake for check in.

Your Excursion today will be made by private long tail boat to see life of the In-tha tribe (name of local ethnic people live on the lake), to discover their unique floating farms and life on the water. You will also witness local fisherman who fish while using only one leg to paddle the boat. First, you'll visit a local market to see the In-Tha and Pa-O tribes selling their farm produce and livestock.

Then continue with seeing the floating gardens on the Inle Lake.

Next, you'll go by boat up a tributary to see the Indein ruins on the slopes of a hill. Today, you'll also see shops along the way where the Long Neck Ladies sell their silks tapestries on the lake.

Rest of the day is at your leisure to relax.

Transfer by flight to Tachileik in the morning. Tachileik is a small border town at the foot of the Shan Hills. Upon arrival, your English speaking guide will greet you to transfer you to the border.

On the otherside, your guide from Chiang Rai will greet you and you'll take a road alongside the Shan hills and transfer to Chiang Rai for check in(1.5 hours).

The rest of the afternoon/evening are at your leisure.

In the morning, you'll go to visit Doi Tung Royal villa, the Hill tribe Project at Doi Tung, which is located in the northwestern hills of Chiang Rai Province. Visit Mae Fah Luang Garden.

Then visit the Golden Triangle, where the Ruak river and the Mekong river meet forming the borders of three countries - Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos - and visit the House of Opium Museum. Continue on to the ancient city of Chiang Sean at Wat Chedi. Return to town by sunset.

Transfer from Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai today through mountain roads. First, visit the White Temple, a very unique modern Thai temple built by an aspiring Thai artist.

When you arrive in Chiang Mai, check in to your hotel and the rest of the day is at your leisure.

In the morning, you'll go to visit the most prominent temples in Chiang Mai. Start with Wat Phra Singh which houses the famous Phra Singh Buddha image. It features Lanna art throughout and illustrates many famous Buddhist stories.

Continue on to Wat Chedi Luang, which once contained the Emerald Buddha. The temple is partially in ruins due to an earthquake in the 1500s.

Then stop at Wat Chiang Man which is the oldest temple in Chiang Mai and also houses one of Thailand's greatest treasures: the Crystal Buddha(usually only able to be seen on Sundays and certain festival dates).

Then continue to Wat Suan Dok, which houses many of the remains of generations of the old Chiang Mai Royal Family. Finally, visit Wat Jet Yot – this peaceful temple is surrounded by green and was built in the Mahabodhi style from India to house the Eighth World Buddhist Council in 1453.

Return to the hotel to relax around noon.

In the afternoon, you'll transfer by flight to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival, your Laos guide will greet you and escort you to your hotel for check in.

The guide will arrange with the hotel for you to wake up early and participate in the morning offerings to the monks. You'll give a offerings to the lines of monks of sticky rice.

*Please note that this is a solemn ceremony and is best that if you take photos, you keep a distance from the procession, turn off the camera flash and not cause disruption. If participating, stay along the side of where the monks proceed and position yourself so your head is lower than the monks. Also, keep your shoulders, legs, and torso covered and take off your shoes. Take care to not make eye contact with any of the monks. If you wish not to participate in the ceremony, just let the guide know the day before.

Then continue to Phousi market where you will see diverse offerings such as dried buffalo skin, local produce, etc. Next, you'll go to visit the King's Palace Museum. Here you'll see the palace where the king lived when Laos was a monarchy. Then continue to Wat Xieng Thong, one of the oldest temples in Luang Prabang.

Next, you'll transfer to Kuang Si Waterfall where the water is a beautiful turquoise. You'll have lunch next to the waterfall. You may swim in the afternoon or head back to town. At around 5PM, you'll have the opportunity to climb the 355 steps of Mount Phousi to watch the sunset.

Alternatively, the guide may choose another hill temple to watch the sunset from if the crowds are too big at Phousi

In the morning, we embark on a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a breathtaking view of the tranquil countryside. Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make Laos rice wine and rice whiskey. You'll be able to try some and see the process they use to make it. Then we'll reach the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims.

Lunch will be served nearby the caves. During lunch, you'll have the opportunity to try a local dish called "Orlam" which is a soup with vegetables and features a spicy wood that is partially edible. On return, we disembark the boat to visit a traditional weaving village of Ban Phanom, which is famous for its hand weaving.

Today, you'll transfer by flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, your Angkor guide will greet you and escort you to your hotel for check in.

Be prepared to enjoy a beautiful traditional dance performed by a team trained in the Dance of Apsara. This unique cultural experience highlights the mysterious civilization and heritage of Khmer spoken through choreography and music. Colorful costumes and playful activities will give you insights into the Khmer daily life and wedding traditions while you enjoy a delicious meal to welcome you to the Kingdom of Wonders.

After breakfast, you'll begin your explorations of the remains of an ancient civilization that once ruled much of Southeast Asia.

Today, you'll be visiting the ancient capital city of Angkor Thom. On your way to Angkor Thom, you’ll catch a glimpse of the front of Angkor Wat as you pass by, which will impress you as you take your first glance of the enormity and wonder of the largest religious complex to ever exist. However, we’ll be saving the best for last as you go on today to see some other equally impressive structures of Ta Prohm Temple, Bayon Temple, Banteay Kdei, Baphoun, Elephant Terrace, Leper King Terrace, and the Royal Palace. First on the agenda is Ta Prohm. Worn by time, rain, and overpowered by the jungle, this immaculate structure hidden under canopy will leave you feeling like you’ve stepped into the movie set of a treasure hunt adventure. Your private tour guide will give you the history and stories passed through oral tradition.

After you’ve had lunch, your exploits will continue as you visit Banteay Kdei ("Citadel of Chambers”).

You’ll also visit Victory Gate, Terrace of the Leper King, the Royal Palace, Baphuon and Bayon. Bayon sets itself apart with its almost 200 smiling faces, sure to make you feel welcomed on your second day to the Kingdom of Wonders. With its winding tunnels, chambers, and daring climbs, Bayon will give you many picturesque moments to keep your camera busy.

As the sun approaches the horizon, you'll enjoy a sunset from the top of the pyramid-shaped temple of Pre Rup.

After sunset, you’ll be taken back to your hotel for the evening.

Today your guide will escort you to discover The Legend Revealed - Angkor National Museum. Housed within are robust collections of ancient statues and relics. This museum will take you through a journey back in time from inception of the Khmer civilization to its pinnacle of dominance in the region. Through the use of interactive exhibits, you will develop a deeper understanding of customs, traditions and beliefs held by the ancient civilization in this region. This museum provides an excellent presentation of the secrets and mysteries surrounding the Khmer Empire.

At noon, you'll have lunch. Then in the afternoon you will continue to one of the ancient capitals of the Angkorian-era Khmer Empire, which is called Hari-Hara, a synthesis of the Hindu Gods Shiva and Vishnu. It has become known as the Roluos Group due to its proximity to the modern town Roluos. You'll visit Bakong temple which was the “Angkor Wat before Angkor Wat”. This impressive structure rests on an island surrounded by moats and jungle.

After this, you'll return to your hotel for leisure time.

Before the light of day, your guide will pick you up from your hotel and escort you to the front of Angkor Wat. From here, you'll watch one of the most revered sunrises in the world. Then have a light picnic breakfast in view of the temple.

After, you'll continue to explore the many passage ways and bas reliefs as your guide brings to life the stories of Angkor. This time of day is best to visit the temple because there are very few tourists and it is cool in the morning. After, you'll return to your hotel for the rest of the morning to enjoy the breakfast buffet and rest.

At noon, stop for lunch, and continue to the Tonle Sap Lake for an excursion on the largest lake of Southeast Asia. You'll go to visit the floating village of Kampong Phluk which is an ancient village whose name means “Harbor of the Tusks”. It is believed it was a key trading port during the ivory trade many years ago. You'll also explore the nearby unique mangrove forests on the lake. Then return to your hotel for relaxation.
