1 day trek to Y Linh Ho Village in Muong Hoa Valley is part of our day walks we offer in Sapa Vietnam. You’ll visit Cat Cat, Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai, and Ta Van villages, trek through stunning landscapes including the rice paddy terraces of Muong Hoa Valley and Hoang Lien National Park, and experience the culture of the Black H’mong and Giay ethnic groups.
Your trek will begin with a sneak through the lively Sapa market before leaving the town behind. After a few minutes, you’ll follow a downhill road that leads to the charming Cat Cat village. Along the way, you’ll take a break to admire a beautiful waterfall and a hydroelectric station before continuing your hike on a dirt trail that winds through the picturesque rice paddy terraces. As you walk, you’ll also enjoy breathtaking views of the narrow river.
Next, you’ll reach Y Linh Ho village, home to the Black H’mong minority, where you can relax and refuel with a delicious lunch served beside the river.
After lunch, you’ll head towards the stunning Muong Hoa valley, following a popular trekking route that takes you through the Lao Chai village of the Black H’mong minority and the Tavan village of the Giay minority. Finally, you’ll return to Sapa by car from Ta Van.
